DAN BROWN’S ORIGIN BOOK COVER CONTEST

In 2017, I was selected as 1 of 6 national finalists in a contest to design an exclusive book cover for Dan Brown’s newest novel, Origin (author of The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, Inferno). The competition received hundreds of submissions and Dan Brown himself chose the six finalists. My design along with 5 others was promoted to Dan Brown’s 7 million fans across social media in a nationwide contest to vote for your favorite.

Once you voted, your name was seamlessly integrated into the ‘world’s first virtual book signing’ video. Each voter got a personalized film featuring Dan Brown who personally thanked people for voting in the competition. This was done with the help of real-time motion tracking software that inserted the voter’s name using an automated voice and text that appeared in the book.
